An update...finally!

Our intent was to update our website more than just once a year, but I guess being parents has kept us quite busy! A lot has changed since this time last year. Mike got an awesome new job at Edward Jones which has allowed me to stay at home. I finished my 2006-2007 school year teaching Spanish at Wentzville Holt and then decided not to go back. I am now fortunate enough to stay at home with Melissa.

That has been a dream come true! I love my time at home with her. I am teaching Spanish online part-time at home. That has been a great opportunity for me also. I realize how lucky I am because very few people can find a work-at-home job that fits in perfectly with their profession. God really is taking care of us.

We also have some other big news. Melissa is going to be a big sister. Her little brother is due April 5th. We are very excited about Melissa and her little brother growing up together close in age. I think we are going to be having a lot of fun!

I hope all of our friends and families are doing great also. Make sure you leave us a message in our guestbook or send us an email. We would love to hear from everyone! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We hope this Christmas season finds everyone well. Our family is adjusting well with our wonderful new addition.
Melissa sleeps for about 3 hours at a time most nights. She is very good-natured, and we couldn't ask for a better baby.

Well, Lacey has made it through all of our baby showers. We came out very well. There's only a few items that we'll need to buy before little Melissa comes into the world. Thanks to everyone that helped us out and bought such wonderful gifts for us. We really appreciate it!!

We've started working on Melissa's room. I'll put some pictures up soon. Everything is slowly finding it's place and we'll be ready for her very soon! Melissa has started hiccuping like crazy! It's really wild feeling her hiccup in Lacey's belly!

Lacey has another Dr's appointment on Monday. Soon we'll be down to appointments every week! There's only 44 more days until Melissa's due date!

Purina National Dog Challenge

Lacey and I went to the Purina National Dog Challenge with my sister and Caleb and Aaron (two nephews) in Grays Summit, MO. It was very fun. I think we'll probably try to go again next year since we had so much fun. We're going to start working on Dakota so we can have her entered next year (yea right!!).

Thanks for visiting our webpage. We plan on trying to keep the site up to date with new FAMILY information. I'm working on getting the gallery to work under the pictures section. Soon we will have numerous pictures for everyone to view.

At this time, I have loaded pictures from our trip to Utah and pictures of my gone, but not forgotten, 2004 Ford Mustang Mach1. I'll try to load pictures from Mexico either tonight or tomorrow night.

Yes, she's pregnant with our little girl due in November. She seems to kick harder and harder every day! We do have a name picked out. We've decided to name her Melissa Ann Hiatte.
